About Jenny Wang
Born and raised in China, Jenny Wang was fond of music and singing since she was very young. She was a soloist, singing and performing for the farmers, workers and soldiers with her singing and dancing troupe in the elementary school. Her music dream didn't begin to materialize until she was living and working in New York City in the mid-nineties. Inspired by the vibrant culture of the city, she took the opportunity to study voice at Juilliard School. Later on she moved to New Hampshire and continued her education as a full time voice major at Keene State College. Jenny continued to advance her study and training after relocation to Southern California where she has been making many public appearances in recitals and music festivals. She has been singing and performing professionally since 2004 as a concert soloist and recitalist. In recent years, Jenny has been performing in local communities across Orange County, California, rendering many delightful recitals in senior centers, libraries, university theaters and other different venues.
Jenny's bright, warm, crystal clear soprano voice has been described as “truly gifted”. Her wide range of repertoire include everything from Classical, Broadway, Opera, Contemporary, Popular, and Movie Theme songs. She also plays the piano and guitar. She enjoys performing at private parties, birthday parties, weddings and other social events.
